Late New Arrivals

Had to show you these...

Additions to my Pacific collection

I've bought a few Strelets figure sets, and in my opinion these are some of the best sculpts they have yet produced

We love you Santa!

Recent Arrivals

First up, Romey, Great Dane puppy, we've had her a few weeks; three dogs are better than two :)

Cool eh? Surgery has already begun on this

Wooden houses claim to be 1/87, we'll see...

Got these from Ash, the bag contained one hundred Caesar figures from about eight different sets, including WW2 and modern

Trees and grass

Paint brushes, excellent!

Can't wait to test this out, wanted one for ages. The girls came through for me as always :) :)

75L11 Japanese Mountain Gun

Excellent little infantry guns by Waterloo 1815, the design dates from 1898

One with shield

and, one without

A couple of pictures of the real deal. This one is at my local (sort of) RSL. We had a few going-away drinks there the other night, and I took these pictures to show you

This one was captured around the Milne Bay area of operations in 1942, and presented to the town in 1946 as part of a collection of field pieces from both wars. Several of the town's men fought in the Pacific theatre during WW2, hence the connection with this one.

Japs - progress

Started this project a long time ago. I have x1 painted (Matchbox figures) and x4 semi painted (Waterloo 1815 & Esci figures) battalions that are out for a touch up

I'm building an entire 1941-43 infantry division, so I need to add another x4 battalions, for a total of x9

These will be made up from this lot, Revell, Airfix, Matchbox, Esci, Waterloo 1815 and some old Hong Kong copies

Also, gearing down for another move so these might take a bit longer than I'd like. I plan on building up my Pacific War collection quite a bit next year.

About 2000 of these were produced by the end of the war. I think these are by Italeri.
